Paraguay, a developing nation with a population of 7 million, faces a significant challenge in financial inclusion. Currently, only 30% of adults have access to formal banking services.
A deep mistrust of banks and reliance on cash made it the main competitor to digital banking adoption.
I led the user interface team, collaborating with designers to shape the user experience for Paraguay’s first fully digital bank, achieving over 100,000 DAU within its first year.

How Might We change the buyer's habit from cash money to digital money?
We began with a collaborative effort to align the vision of all stakeholders. Once unified, we transitioned to an ideation phase, starting on paper and welcoming input from all participants, not just designers.
Through convergence workshops, we refined ideas into a low-fidelity prototype, which was then developed into a high-fidelity version and rigorously tested with users.
We created a robust, well-documented design system with a complete library of components, ensuring scalability and a smooth handoff to the internal team post-contract.
